I love it so much! It’s surprisingly well worth the wait. It’s techno-ish but it’s different from all the other electropop out there. I’m not a fan at all of the auto-tune but I’m sure it won’t be on the album. I love the new style and logo and everything! So excited!!!!

It says the release date for the album when you hover over the little picture on the music player on their MySpace page. It says:
“New Album 2010!
GIRLICIOUS
Release date: 1/1/2010″
I highly doubt that’s accurate, that’s probably just the default date and no one bother to change it. The album can’t come out before the single. LoL

You can find the albumreleasedate at their official myspace.. BUT i thinks it’s strange also to release the single 5 January and the album first 1/1/2010 (Click on the new Girlicious picture where you listen the snippet from Over You) I think it’s a mistake and that the album do comes out in February…

that was hot, but I actually really like their urban vibe, hopefully they’ll mix things up again on their next album and incorporate both dance pop and urban pop.

I just noticed that they now sound exactly like velvet angels, I guess what made girlicious different was Tiffany’s voice and the urban vibe, is nichole the only one singing in this snippet?

This is just one song. Think of their first album: Like Me was the single, but not every song sounded like that. Baby Doll, Liar Liar, Still in Love, Already Gone, etc. were very different from Like Me.
So even if you don’t like Over You, that doesn’t mean you won’t like the rest of the album.
(Besides, I remember when I heard the snippet of “Baby Doll’, I HATED IT. But of course, I loved the rest of the album and I loved the rest of the song! Snippets don’t always do a song justice)

How do you know the whole album will sound like this? Yes, it’s a dance album, but that doesn’t mean all songs will sound exactly like this. There are lots of different types of dance songs.
